Welcome to bartoll.com! The World of Body Transformations!
"With more than 17 years of experience as a trainer and 15 years as a writer, Joachim Bartoll is a leading Fitness Professional and Expert in both Body Transformation and Sports Performance."
Joachim began writing training- and nutrition articles back in 1995. At that time he wrote for John Monteiro's Bigboys which was the biggest bodybuilding community on the Internet. In 1996 Bigboys closed down and Joachim started Ironmag; the first real web magazine. Within months his former Canadian colleagues Eric Hesse and Christian Thibaudeau joined the team. Ironmag stayed on top until early 2002 when other projects took priority and the website was put on hold.
Several years later, in 2001; Joachim was offered the position as Editor in Chief for the Swedish edition of Ironman Magazine. Unfortunately the magazine was cancelled in mid 2002 due to low advertising revenues. A few months later he accepted the position as Editor in Chief for the newly started Exhale All Sports Magazine, where he stayed until December 2003. During that time Joachim wrote three to four articles for each issue.

Nowadays Joachim runs his own training- and nutrition counseling business located in Västerås, Sweden, and he is also a freelance writer for several magazines and websites. His clientele ranks from the regular gym-goers to elite athletes. In April of 2009 Joachim released his first book, The Body Transformation Guide, a complete 12-week guide to burn fat and build muscle. His second book, The Maximum Muscle Guide, was released in early July. He also manages Team reFORM together with the club's founder Fredrik Carlsson. Team reFORM is Sweden's largest Competition Team dedicated to bodybuilders and fitness athletes.
In 2008 Fredrik and Joachim started reFORM's Talent Hunt, a project where they handpicked six applicants to make their debut in bodybuilding or fitness. These talents were sponsored with free diet- and training programs, coaching, competition license, fees etc., including free supplements and clothes from the main sponsor Proteinfabrikken. In 2009, the Talent Hunt project will help 12 participants to get in their best shape of their life and to enter the bodybuilding stage.
Joachim has also been an active photographer since 1998 and has covered several National events as well as professional shows.
